Trans Am, Day 39: Waiting in Ellington, MO

I woke up to a thunderstorm, checked the forecast (thunderstorms all day) and radar, and decided to hang out in Ellington, Missouri.

I walked to Checo’s, the Mexican restaurant across the street, for lunch. I saw a group of wet cyclists freezing in the air conditioning. They are also doing an east-west TransAm, but they are van supported. I hope they stay safe!
