La Veta Pass is much easier from the west, and the descent to Walsenburg is delightful!

There were no places to stop until I reached Walsenburg, so the day went by extremely fast.

Tomorrow, when I reach Pueblo, I will be back on the TransAm route!

Lots of convenience stores have Slurpee-like drinks, but none are as good as real slurpees!
